Ending Explained

In the climax of the film, the protagonist, Moses, takes decisive action to protect his community from the alien creatures that have invaded their South London block. After realizing that the aliens are attracted to the pheromones left on him by the female alien he killed earlier, Moses devises a plan to lure them into a trap. He takes the pheromone-stained jacket and runs through the block, drawing the creatures to his apartment. Inside his flat, Moses rigs a gas explosion by turning on the stove and lighting fireworks. As the aliens close in, he leaps out of the window, detonating the gas and destroying the creatures in a massive explosion. This act of bravery not only saves the block but also redeems Moses in the eyes of his neighbors and the authorities. In the aftermath, Moses and his friends are arrested, but the residents of the block, having witnessed his heroism, begin to chant his name in support. This signifies a turning point for Moses, who transitions from being seen as a delinquent to a hero. The film ends with Moses in police custody, but with a newfound respect from his community, highlighting themes of redemption and the strength of community solidarity.
