In the climactic conclusion, the protagonist, Ji-yoon, discovers the horrifying truth behind the series of murders depicted in her webtoons. It is revealed that her editor, Seung-hee, has been orchestrating the killings, driven by a vengeful spirit. This spirit is that of Ji-yoon's former mentor, who had committed suicide after being betrayed by Seung-hee. The mentor's spirit possesses Seung-hee, using her to exact revenge on those who wronged her. Ji-yoon confronts Seung-hee in a tense showdown, where the possessed editor attempts to kill Ji-yoon. However, Ji-yoon manages to break the cycle of vengeance by acknowledging her own guilt and expressing genuine remorse for her part in the mentor's tragic fate.
